FESTIVAL JOURNEY: Daytime Delights

Our programme is packed with things to enjoy during the day.

Take a trip to The Adnams Spiegeltent and dress for a spin on the dancefloor with the Ragroof Players’ Tea Dances, or spend a whole day immersed in Summer. Autumn. Winter. Spring. a quartet about the human life cycle from internationally renowned theatre company Quarantine. Take a trip to Houghton Hall to view a major exhibition of new works by Turner Prize-winning British Landscape artist Richard Long, or listen to an exciting performance from promising new classical talent with BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists. The Garden Party takes over Chapelfield Gardens for two days of exciting performances and entertainment perfect for all ages during the middle weekend of the Festival, and you can enjoy a weekend of exploring ideas with some of the most original thinkers of our time at our City of Literature Weekend at the end of the Festival.
