FESTIVAL JOURNEY: Storytelling

Immerse yourself in stories from all over the world at this year’s Festival.

Akram Khan Company takes us from Britain to Bangladesh in the cross-cultural storytelling of Chotto Desh, and Luke Wright transports us back to 1987 in the World Premiere of Frankie Vah. Returning for its second year at the Festival, The Story Machine showcases world-renowned writers that let you step into the shoes of characters from North Korea to the wild frontiers of America. Ride a bus around the streets of Norwich as a performance poet takes you through the story of a woman’s life in Rear View. Stormy tells us the story of dancer, movie star, activist and singer Lena Horne, and TheatreFragile brings the unheard voices and stories of local refugees to the centre of an interactive masked theatre performance in We meet in paradise.
