Arts Award inspires children and young people to connect with and take part in the wider arts world through taking challenges in an art form – from fashion to digital art, pottery to poetry.
Festival Bridge supports the delivery of Arts Award within arts, cultural and education settings and can offer advice on how to introduce, develop and deliver each level.
Offered at five different levels, Arts Award provides children and young people with the chance to:
- discover the enjoyment of creating and participating in any art form
- develop their creativity and leadership skills
- learn new skills and share them with others
- get to work with or experience working with creative arts professionals
- gain experience and knowledge to progress into further education and employment

Arts Award Ambassadors
Arts Award Ambassadors are Arts Award advisers based in centres across our region who have a high level of expertise in delivering Arts Award in their setting. These advisers have been asked to support other delivers where they can, by sharing their own experiences and speaking to those who may want to gain advice from a direct deliverer. This would be predominantly through phone calls and briefing sessions hosted by Festival Bridge.
The Ambassadors are rolling positions and five new advisers will be chosen each year.
If you are seeking advice and would like to talk to one of our Ambassadors, please contact us for further information.
