On Wednesday 8 November 2017 Festival Bridge hosted a day of workshops and discussions to explore the cultural landscape, and to provoke, inspire and lead to action. Held at the Athenaeum in Bury St Edmunds, our proposition for this conference was a simple one: that our region is rich with potential that can be realised through collaborating together to create ways of working that are imbued with a strong sense and understanding of place.
We welcomed 100 delegates from across our region from a range of organisations and partnerships, with an opportunity to look at key themes such as Collective Impact, Rural & Coastal Development, Early Years Arts, Relational Schools, Heritage, Skills Pathways.
What is......? Film Project
As part of our conference, we asked children and young people to tell us what they think about arts and culture in their region. We asked them the following questions:
“The most inspiring person you know is?”
“The last arts or cultural place you visited was?”
“I think arts and culture is…”
“When you think of arts and culture where you live, what do you think of?”
“The last time I felt like a leader was…”
