James Turrell Skyspace Evenings

Friday 13 & Saturday 14 May

This is a past event which has now ended.

Experience the effect of the change of light from day to night in James Turrell’s tranquil Skyspace.

Through an aperture in the ceiling, you are offered a heightened vision of the Norfolk sky in a place of contemplation and revelation.

7.30pm for 7.45pm start Arrivals on the West Lawn, with a welcome from Amanda Geitner

8.00pm Move to the Old Kitchen for a soup, sausage rolls and bread and an introduction to the work of James Turrell

8.30pm As the sun sets, depart for the Skyspace – we will spend the twilight hour in the space.

10.00pm Return to the Old Kitchen for hot drinks and chocolate brownies by the fire

10.30pm Close

Please note, we will be outside at dusk, so dress for warmth and wear comfortable shoes. The Skyspace is a 10 minute walk from the Old Kitchen and is accessed by a ramp.
