Singers Mamani Keita, Rokia Konem and Awa Sangho and their band bring a fresh lively sound, that seamlessly blends the ancient rhythms of Africa with funk and blues and dabs of dub.
They are part of West Africa’s first all-female supergroup whose 2017 Real World release Republique Amazone featured the legendary Angélique Kidjo and Mariam Doumbia and rising star Nneka. Through their dynamic songs, they convey a powerful political message, opposing violence against women and championing gender equality.
