Native Creatives - Emily Godden
Immersive Storytelling with Photogrammetry and 3D worlds
Working with photogrammetry apps available for free on iOS and Android smartphones we will be scanning our surroundings to build 3D assets to construct our own 3D interactive worlds. Learn how to harness the power of the device sitting in your pocket to tell stories by exploring this workflow designed to run on any device with a web browser and stable internet connection. Starting with the smartphone we will build 3D assets, export these to Sketchfab and build a fun 3D environment using WebXR via Mozilla Hubs. Will you build an online archive of your classes’ teddy bears, an interactive online exhibition or make it rain pizza? Come along and play, no technical experience and no coding skills required, just access to a smartphone and web browser and maybe a brew.
