Norfolk & Norwich Festival 2020 has been cancelled
It is with regret that we have taken the very difficult but ultimately inevitable decision to cancel the 2020 Norfolk & Norwich Festival.
With the rapidly escalating health-crisis and with the safety of our audiences, staff and artists at heart, we have taken the decision that it is impossible for us to deliver the Festival this May.
If you have booked a ticket for the Festival, you do not need to do anything. You are entitled to a refund and we will be in touch soon. Please bear with us during this difficult time. If you have the capacity to make a donation of part or all of your ticket value, we would be extremely grateful – it would help ensure we’re well-placed to support artists and be able to present future Festivals.
Imagine if Joan Collins, Tim Curry and Meow Meow all dropped a stack of narcotics and had an orgy… Now roll it in jewels and homemade vodka and you’re halfway there.
Australian comedy cabaret powerhouse Reuben Kaye finally brings his award winning solo show to the UK and he’s taking no prisoners. His voice is a force of nature, and his band top notch, musical heavyweights who are all taking their gloves off for an explosion of energy, high camp, big notes and filthy humour.
After appearances on Channel 4 and on BBC’s You’re Fired, multi-award winning Cabaret artist and self proclaimed part-time hood ornament Reuben Kaye is now the danger man to watch in the cabaret world. With an acid wit and casual sensationalism that is simply delicious, Kaye is fast, on the edge and brutally funny. a dazzling phantasm of anachronistic showbiz – an explosion of sequins, lashes and teeth, a much needed, hysterically funny, swarovski studded revolt against the ever narrowing views of an increasingly conservative world. Reuben Kaye is what happens when you tell your children they can be anything.
