Evaluation Consultant - Early Years

Festival Bridge is seeking an experienced evaluator to measure the impact of a pilot project and to refine it’s potential of moving forward.

Festival Bridge is one of 10 national bridge organisations with investment from Arts Council England and the Department for Education. Our mission is to ensure children and young people across our patch know that arts and culture belong to them.

One of our key strategic areas of development is to enhance the creative experiences of babies and children in their early years (0-5 years). As part of this, we’ve been working on ways to embed additional skills within the Early Years workforce. We have built a partnership with Anglia Ruskin University to pilot artistic input into their Early Years Education Foundation Degree curriculum. This work is currently being developed by ourselves and Magic Acorns for delivery in the upcoming academic year.

The evaluation will examine:

• The efficiency of the delivery
• the impact on students’ skills base, confidence and academic achievement
• the management of the partnerships between Festival Bridge and the artistic partners
