An opportunity for Norfolk artists to meet our new Festival Director
Join us at Norwich Arts Centre for an event especially for Norfolk’s artists and artistic community to welcome Daniel Brine to Norwich as he takes up his post of Festival Director at Norfolk & Norwich Festival. Norwich Arts Centre’s Director Pasco Q Kevlin, will host an informal discussion and welcome questions from the audience.
Come and hear about some of Daniel’s initial plans and ideas for the Festival, share your thoughts on what you think we could and should be doing for Norwich and Norfolk and how the Festival can best engage with, support and champion the region’s artistic community.
Daniel Brine joined Norfolk & Norwich Festival as Festival Director in January 2018. For the last six years he has been Artistic Director and CEO of Cambridge Junction overseeing the revitalisation of this important East of England arts centre. Daniel has previously been Artistic Director and CEO of Performance Space in Sydney (Australia) where he worked to support interdisciplinary artists and artistic practices. Before that he worked for eight years as Associate Director at the Live Art Development Agency where, in partnership with Lois Keidan, he curated a broad range of live art from emerging artist platforms for the National Review of Live Art, through the ground breaking Live Culture at Tate Modern to international programmes including the nationally touring China Live.
