Become a FriendLiniker E Os Caramelows
Liniker e os Caramelows combine soul with the tropical heritage of MPB (popular Brazilian music), a hint of samba and a touch of jazz.
Transgender singer Liniker has a spark that she shares with you, creating a universal show both beautiful and full of energy.
The sounds of black soul and samba run through Liniker’s blood. Shaking things up to high-gear, Brazilian funk, moving from ballad to a reggae bridge, eventually exploding into a majestic African-based Candomblé rhythmic finish as they spiral upwards towards wider acclaim and recognition. Seeing them performing live helps to understand just how they cast their musical magic on their audiences.
Formed in 2015 the band rose to prominence instantly with their first EP which went viral, amassing over 18 million views combined. The award-winning album release was followed by remarkable international festival performances. Liniker has converted into a musical but also a social phenomenon, being awarded by the UN for gender equality.
