William Galinsky Becomes Artistic Director
William Galinsky appointed Artistic Director.
With government and Arts Council backing, the Festival becomes one of ten institutions to form a separate ‘bridge’ organization – Festival Bridge, responsible for developing arts opportunities and acting as a bridge between the Education and Arts sectors.
Open Studios continues to grow year on year. In 2011 it covered three weekends, with 33,000 visitors, 347 participating artists and over £250,000 of art sold.

Andy Sheppard's Saxophone Massive
This year the Festival kicked-off with an outdoor concert featuring 200 saxophone players from across Norfolk, led by the jazz saxophonist Andy Sheppard. It was called ‘Saxophone Massive’.
