Supporting best practice in creative early years provision

Back to Research & Development

We are working with Magic Acorns to research and develop best practice within creative early years provision in our region.

Magic Acorns (formally Acorn East) is network of specialists in EY arts who share our belief that early years is an integral part of a young person’s arts and cultural journey, and is often seen as the most important time in a child’s development. We commissioned Magic Acorns to work with researcher Dr Jessica Pitt to conduct a mapping study to outline the current early years and arts and cultural landscape and provision, and provide a spotlight for early years practice.
