Festival Ad Hocs
An eight day music festival, as part of a run of triennial events.
Alongside the standard festival concerts and exhibitions, a group of creative young people who called themselves the ‘Festival Ad Hocs’ helped stage some new and different events to introduce the Festival to a new generation. This included a separate jazz festival in Earlham Park, a ‘talking machine expo’ and folk singing. Amongst the more traditional classical music highlights was the first performance outside of France of the renowned Tortelier family.
