One Pound Tickets
Faced with the grim economic outlook at the time, the Festival worked with the local press in an initiative to make £1 tickets available, which was a big success.
A wide range of performers from Jake Thackery to Ronnie Scott came to Norwich, whilst literary events including a celebration of Puffin Books and a talk from Stephen Fry, brought a new literary dimension which would expand in the following years including lunchtime readings from 1992.

Noriko Ogawa
