As we increasingly invite you to shape the Festival and discover our Festival Spirit, we’ll be offering you more and more opportunities to, not just consume the Festival… but also be a part of it. MAKE & DO sees community collaboration and participation. News News News is a topical broadcast… made for adults… by children. The show brings to the stage the city’s current affairs, all seen through the eyes of a ten year old.

In the culmination of a three year project with Stopgap Dance, Frippery brings this acclaimed company together with around thirty local people as they explore identity and celebrate some amazing clothing!  We also hand over the Festival for a day to a group of young people to curate their own programme in Engage!. They challenge the current socio-political climate with words, ideas and debate.

Arts make life better

Norfolk & Norwich Festival brings tens of thousands of people together in celebration – it has been doing this for 250 years. Through our May Festival and our year-round arts education work, focusing on children and young people, we lead and support celebration, creativity and curiosity in communities across Norfolk and the region.

This year we begin an exciting new initiative, Festival Connect & Create that will bring creative opportunities to those schools and communities with least provision. Creativity transforms people’s lives. It builds cohesive communities, develops vital skills and supports health and wellbeing. We want more people to have access to creative opportunities.

Please consider donating to support and develop this work. With your help we can increase access to the life changing power of the arts.
