Bringing creativity to schools and communities requires people.
At Norfolk & Norwich Festival we are nurturing Creative Leaders to help build the infrastructure for the future. From teachers and artists to the next generation of arts leaders – our young people, we provide networks, mentoring, professional development and bursaries to help support the region’s cultural infrastructure, bringing more creative opportunities to young people and communities across the region.

Our work covers three areas:
Creative Educators: Teachers and educators committed to creativity in schools.
Creativity transforms people’s lives, developing vital skills and building cohesive communities. We want more children and young people to have access to creative opportunities and, working with Creative Educators, we will develop a network of like-minded teachers to share opportunities, experiences and professional development opportunities.

Creative Practitioners: Artists and practitioners committed to creative education and socially engaged practice.
Are you an artist or creative practitioner committed to working with schools, young people and communities in the eastern region? Would you like professional development opportunities to develop your practice, to win bursaries to explore new ways of working, network with other like-minded professionals or opportunities to work on projects in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough?

Young Creatives: The next generation of cultural leaders.
Our Young Creatives programme is driven by FLOCK – a network of young people, aged 18-25 across East Anglia. Delivered with and for young people, FLOCK sets out to support Young Creatives – our future arts leaders. Joining FLOCK will give you the opportunity to network, develop creative skills, meet like-minded individuals, and access our Bursaries for Young Creatives.
