One of the most exciting and progressive talents in UK music today. Her 2017 debut album Weighing of the Heart, released on Ninja Tune received widespread critical acclaim. She holds down numerous radio residencies and is an artist-in-residence at London’s iconic cultural institution, Somerset House. Iqbal is also a human right’s lawyer with a Cambridge Masters degree, and a black belt in Karate.
