A storytelling and protest art show about cities, public money and the end of life as we know it. Working with live animation, music and 10,000 pieces of Lego™, Jack Dean invites you to grab some bricks and help him finish off his model city whilst listening to an epic tale that animates this imaginary landscape.
Venue: Norwich Arts Centre
Age guidance: 14+
Come along from 5pm – 6pm to help build the Lego™ model city for the show
Jack Dean is an Exeter-based writer, performer and theatre maker who has carried his love of weird and wonderful arrangements of words to many places, from the Bowery Poetry Club in New York, Latitude Festival and the South Bank Centre to a male beauty contest in Hackney (long story). Jack likes to take the hip-hop medium he grew up with, go out with it, get it drunk and push it down the high street in a shopping trolley full of fireworks at 4am. He hopes you’ll join him on this quixotic adventure.
