Featuring a talk and workshop from Community Hub Ipswich founder Ed and Programme Director of the Arts for the Finnish Institute UK + Ireland Sara Karpanen. FLOCK attendees will build their confidence around creating lasting partnerships and forming strategic collaborations, alongside time for networking and food and fun.

We want everyone to feel welcome and included at FLOCK events, if you are attending on your own and would like to know you’ll have a friendly face to talk to at the event, let us know you’d like a buddy when booking your ticket and we’ll make sure one of the FLOCK co-directors will meet you, keep you company and introduce you to some other friendly faces.

 

FLOCK

Flock is a network of young people, aged 18-25 across East Anglia. Delivered with and for young people, FLOCK sets out to support Young Creatives – our future arts leaders. Joining FLOCK will give you the opportunity to network, develop creative skills, meet like-minded individuals, and access our Bursaries for Young Creatives.

Arts make life better

Norfolk & Norwich Festival brings tens of thousands of people together in celebration – it has been doing this for over 250 years. Through our May Festival and our year-round arts education work, focusing on children and young people, we lead and support celebration, creativity and curiosity in communities across Norfolk and the region.

This year we begin an exciting new initiative, Festival Connect & Create that will bring creative opportunities to those schools and communities with least provision. Creativity transforms people’s lives. It builds cohesive communities, develops vital skills and supports health and wellbeing. We want more people to have access to creative opportunities.
