One of BBC Radio 6 Music’s Artists of the Year, jasmine.4.t’s beautifully realised debut album, You Are The Morning, was produced by Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus, at Sound City Studios in LA.
Made across 12 days in a highly collaborative and emotional process, the recordings are infused with a free, fluid and spontaneous spirit, dotted with hope and heartbreak in equal measure. The light still breaks through every morning – that’s the prevailing sentiment on the record, which Jasmine considers a call to action for a brighter future for trans people.
