Fontaines D.C., CMAT, Kneecap, The Mary Wallopers… so much of what’s exciting in contemporary music seems centred around Ireland at the moment.
The latest thrilling embodiment of that movement is SexyTadgh, the brainchild of Tadgh Griffin, whose project blends grand pop drama and Irish folk joy. Their show is a big-band spectacle, a combination of theatrical soul, disco pop, dazzling brass, and Freddie Mercury-esque vocals.
After supporting The Mary Wallopers last year at UEA, they return to Norwich for what’s destined to be a raucous and celebratory headline show in the Spiegeltent.
