Neil Cowley Trio

with support from Tom Rogerson

Thursday 21 May, 8.00pm

Norwich Arts Centre

Limited Availability

Tickets: £29.50

The Neil Cowley Trio reunite to present music from their outstanding brand-new album, Entity, alongside some fan-favourite Cowley classics. Their muscular anthems, galloping grooves and tender moments placed them at the forefront of a new movement in jazz, paving the way for six highly acclaimed albums over 10 years.

Expect a powerful performance of deeply impassioned music and hooks aplenty with Cowley’s infectious wit and playfulness never far behind.

Tom Rogerson is a British pianist, keyboardist, composer and improviser known for blending jazz, ambient, contemporary classical and electronic influences throughout his work. Rogerson’s solo work includes the collaborative album Finding Shore with Brian Eno, which merges improvised piano with ambient and electronic textures, and his 2022 solo album Retreat To Bliss.

Arts make life better

Norfolk & Norwich Festival brings tens of thousands of people together in celebration – it has been doing this for over 250 years. Through our May Festival and our year-round arts education work, focusing on children and young people, we lead and support celebration, creativity and curiosity in communities across Norfolk and the region.

This year we begin an exciting new initiative, Festival Connect & Create that will bring creative opportunities to those schools and communities with least provision. Creativity transforms people’s lives. It builds cohesive communities, develops vital skills and supports health and wellbeing. We want more people to have access to creative opportunities.

Please consider donating to support and develop this work. With your help we can increase access to the life changing power of the arts.
