Norwich Puppet Theatre

Getting There

Bus/Train Norwich Puppet Theatre is located to the north of the City centre adjacent to the Barrack Street/Whitefriars roundabout. It is a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral and 5 minutes from Anglia Square shopping centre.

Car There is a small car park adjacent to the Theatre – entry off Whitefriars. The nearest public car park (pay and display) is St Saviours, which is under the Magdalen Street flyover – access by car from Fishergate or Magdalen Street, and has 10 Blue Badge spaces available.

Accessibility

The venue has level access throughout and both, the Main Theatre and Octagon Studio, are wheelchair accessible. Please note that Norwich Puppet Theatre is a converted Medieval Church so there is some unevenness in the floor surfaces and one doorway is too narrow to accommodate a wheelchair, but alternative routes are available.

  • Arts make life better

Norfolk & Norwich Festival brings tens of thousands of people together in celebration – it has been doing this for 250 years. Through our May Festival and our year-round arts education work, focusing on children and young people, we lead and support celebration, creativity and curiosity in communities across Norfolk and the region.

This year we begin an exciting new initiative, Festival Connect & Create that will bring creative opportunities to those schools and communities with least provision. Creativity transforms people’s lives. It builds cohesive communities, develops vital skills and supports health and wellbeing. We want more people to have access to creative opportunities.

Please consider donating to support and develop this work. With your help we can increase access to the life changing power of the arts.
