Discounts & concessions
Under 26s tickets
If you are Under 26, you can get tickets for just £7.50 on most performances. These are subject to availability and proof of age will be required at the performance.
Jobseekers, under 18s, full-time students, D/deaf or disabled people, over 60s and Go4Less cardholders are entitled to discounts on most events with a ticket price of £10 or more. Concessions are usually 10% off tickets, although this may vary on some events. Concessions are subject to availability and cannot be combined with other discounts.
Essential companion tickets
Any audience member requiring an essential carer/companion in order to attend a Festival event can get one free ticket. Concessions or Under 26s discount can be applied to the paid ticket.
For most performances, if you book nine full-price tickets you can get a tenth ticket free.
Refunds & exchanges
We do not offer refunds unless a performance is cancelled or postponed.
If you cannot use tickets you have already paid for, we can exchange them for another Festival performance (7 days notice required). Your original tickets must be returned to the Norwich Theatre Royal box office before a new ticket is issued, and a £2 per ticket handling charge will be applied.
Tickets can be offered for resale, but resale is not guaranteed. Tickets offered for resale will not be sold until all other tickets have been sold. All customers entitled to a refund for resold tickets will be contacted after the Festival, by latest 30 June. Resales are subject to a £2 per ticket handling charge.
Running times & intervals
All running time information on event pages is approximate and is subject to change. If there is no reference to an interval then the show is likely to run straight through.
Currently, when you book your tickets you will be asked if you are happy for Norfolk & Norwich Festival and Norwich Theatre Royal to add you to their marketing lists. If you agree, this means that you will receive information from the Festival and Theatre Royal, as well as companies performing at the Festival and Theatre Royal. You will not receive information from non-arts organisations. This Data Protection statement may be subject to change ahead of the new General Data Protection Regulation on 25 May 2018.
