Access

  • The Wayfaring installation will be located on Wells Beach. The installation is approximately 600m across sand from the Wells Beach car park.
  • There are two toilet blocks at Wells Beach, one in the Wells Beach car park (including accessible toilet) and one in the woods (with no accessible toilet).
  • NNF volunteers will be at Wells Beach car park from 7.30pm – 10.30pm to help guide people to and from the installation site.
  • The Wells Beach Café is open 10am – 5pm during the week, and will be open until 9pm on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 of May.
  • Anyone attending Wayfaring must adhere to the Holkham Coastal Code.
  • We ask that people take a break from their phones and cameras and enjoy the event live.
  • We would like to request that no dogs (other than guide dogs) are close to the artwork. Please do not bring your dog to the Friday and Saturday evening events.

    Norfolk & Norwich Festival brings tens of thousands of people together in celebration – it has been doing this for over 250 years. Through our May Festival and our year-round arts education work, focusing on children and young people, we lead and support celebration, creativity and curiosity in communities across Norfolk and the region.

Creativity transforms people’s lives. It builds cohesive communities, develops vital skills and supports health and wellbeing. We want more people to have access to creative opportunities.
